I got it from her and put it behind my ear, then she left our room. Outside, as we bid goodbye to our kids, she asked where the flower is. I said I left it inside our house, she cried, yelling that I should have not removed it from my ears until I get to my office. So to pacify her, I went back our house and here we are:
How did you celebrate Mother’s Day? Hubby treated me and my mom (and of course with the kids) in this newly opened Chinese restaurant in SM Taytay. My eldest brother tagged along since he also had some stuff to buy in SM Department Store. We arrived at the mall just in time for lunch and as expected there were lots of customers waiting for available table. While we’re on cue, the hostess gave their menu and asked for our order. Their foods were somehow the same with Super Bowl and since hubby and I usually dine in there (Gateway Branch), he immediately chose the foods that we knew my mom and kids will like.
Before, the only family restaurant you can see in SM Taytay is Max’s and Pizza Hut. And people usually lined up in them but last Sunday, the crowd was divided. In Red Palace, I noticed that most of their customers were chinky-eyed like hubby. (Now what am I expecting, it is a Chinese Restaurant after all) Hubby tried to order a mug of beer for him and my brother but the waiter said that liquor ban was currently up because of the election. With his dismay (and with me and my mom’s delight), he opted to order a can of Coke instead.
After feasting on the food, we went up to the department store because hubby said he will buy shoes for our kids. He went straight to his favorite brand of shoes, Florsheim. As expected, it cost way too much for me and my mom but hubby insisted that price doesn’t matter as long as it is durable and can be use for a long period of time. Well, I couldn’t agree more with his statement, because our kids’ shoes are still in good condition up to now and the only time I get to store it in their boxes are when the shoes doesn’t fit anymore. Some of my Erin’s shoes are getting near to her little sister’s shoe size while with my son; some of his cousins are waiting for them.
Noticed my Cien? She struggled with her uncle and insisted on getting down the floor to walk. (Few months from now, we expect her to be running along with her siblings by then).

Loreland Farm Resort has numbers of pools and there are lots of other amenities available for their guests. However, there is one activity in there that are appealing to their patrons and that is their very own version of Zip-Line. For Php100 ($2) you can go from one end to another with the use of a harness. (Actually I’m not sure about its distance). Zip-line tours are becoming popular vacation activities, found at outdoor adventure camps or upscale resorts, where they may be an element on a larger challenge or ropes course.
Zip-line is also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway, aerial ropeslide, death slide or tyrolean crossing and is consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley. Zip-lines come in many forms, most often used as a means of entertainment. They may be short and low, intended for child’s play and found on some playgrounds. Longer and higher rides are often used as a means of accessing remote areas, such as a rainforest canopy.
***No one in my colleagues dared to try it though.
Antipolo is also famous with their OL (overlooking) especially during the night where you can see the city lights and enjoys the cool breeze. But guess what we saw and captured in our camera.
We ate again and packed our things at around 4pm with some of our left over in our bag. (We got lots of it since 2 of our voracious eater officemates did not make it).
That day we had so much fun especially my son who wouldn’t get out of the pool even when the sun was all up. Imagine, staying under the pool and scorching sun at 12noon up to 3pm. No wonder my mom got very surprised when she saw us. Here’s how we look like:
