That five-day family vacation is still taking its toll on me. While I made it a point to inform my clients about my recent vacation and finished what needs to be done for that week before I left, I still got a piled-up tasks when I came back. I am not complaining though because I really feel blessed of having this kind of online job. My clients give me regular tasks every week that I need to accomplish.
Hello! My family and I were back from our vacation last Friday afternoon. We slept after we had our lunch and woke up at 5pm. We all felt energized after that and I even thought I could go back to work that night. But after we had our dinner and I laid beside the kids to put them to sleep, my eyes went heavy again and dozed off to sleep with them! Oh well, another night of absence from my work would not be that bad since I have my clients’ approval of my five days vacation.
I hated Mondays then.. can’t wait for Fridays and looked forward to Saturdays and Sundays.
It went every week of every month for years of me being a work-out of home mom (WOHM).
At night, as I put my kids to sleep, I would think of things I should do in the morning before they wake up. I would love to prepare a sumptuous breakfast for hubby and me to keep us going through our day in the office. Like, eggs and bacon with rice or I would toast a loaf to partner with it along with a cup of coffee or juice. My kids just love cereals for breakfast so I had no problem with that.
I should have said “Yes, I want that, buy it for me”.. but I did not.
It was almost right on my fingertips and could have gone home with a MacBook Pro last Tuesday but the scene was reversed. Instead of me begging my husband to buy it for me, I begged not to even call the sales rep for product inquiry and yanked him to look for a much cheaper brand of a laptop instead. We went out of the PowerMac store in Megamall with hubby scratching his head.
I am so thankful that God gave me enough knowledge in sharing my thoughts through writing because with it I am able to earn
a little amount of money by blogging and doing some online writing. I know I am not a professional writer nor have a superior command in English but at least I can express my thoughts clear enough for my readers whose native or second language is English. For the record, I am not boasting about my ability to write, it’s just that I am happy to do what I love and at the same time earn from it.
And speaking of earning, before I pick up this stirrer beside me and make myself another cup of coffee, I am happy to share to you that I was able to earn enough money through my blogs to share with my hubby for our daughter’s upcoming 4th birthday at the end of the month. We have no plans yet but one thing is for sure, this time hubby will not be alone in shouldering all the expenses.
