Help Me Get Back My PR

8 / 2 / 102 / 23 / 14
Couldn’t believe today is already the second day of August. Time flies really fast when you have tons of things to do eh! I just sneaked in here before I dig my brains again in writing stuff for my “clients”. I couldn’t stand seeing my blogs dropping instead of increasing their page ranks. That happened to my Scrapolous Mom of Three, from PR2 it drop down to N/A (bad news for me eh!) Well, somehow I knew it would happen as I barely visit that blog of mine. No time for Digital Scrapbooking, no post. After all, I don’t want to fill it in with lots of non-digiscrapping post. But I swear, I will try my very best to get that lost PR back again. I will get my feet err.. hands, back into Digiscrapping again. Help me huh! Visit me there too and comments from you will be very much appreciated. I will return the favor too and that’s a PROMISE.

Page Rank!

6 / 30 / 102 / 23 / 14
The first thing I usually do before opening my blogs is to check if there’s something I can see when I submit their url’s to Google Pagerank Checker. I know I’m not an expert blogger like my GT sissies or those bloggers that I come across during my blog hopping so I had to double check again and again if  I’m seeing the correct statistics. (I even checked it again before I finally published this post). The results are:

Scrapolous Mom of Three, my very first blog
Check Google Page Rank

My Mind’s Outburst,my 2nd blog
Page Ranking Tool

Story Book Mom, my 3rd blog
Check Google Page Rank

I know there’s nothing exciting about it but for me it’s great big deal. Those statistics are much more pleasing to see than the usual N/A.

Hmm.. now it got me thinking if I should go on and buy my own domains. What do y’all think?

Summer Outing in Loreland Farm Resort

5 / 13 / 101 / 27 / 17
After several times of planning and re-scheduling, our Accounting department finally visited Loreland Farm Resort in Antipolo. Our client Mr. Ryan Mariñas and his family own that very nice and spacious resort and he personally invited us (for free!) to visit the place and have fun.  (You can book Loreland Farm Resort, Antipolo City with Traveloka, though, if you can’t go there for free.)
Wonder why he invited us for free? Well, it’s because of the good customer service that we gave to him every time he has a project with us. He did not only offer free entrance but he also reserved 2 cabanas for us. Actually, he offered us room accommodation but that was if we opt for an overnight stay which is very much impossible because most of us have kids and families and overnight swimming will be very inconvenient for us.
It was just a department outing and we are only seven in the Accounting section so we were allowed to bring along companions. I brought my eldest son with me and had a hard time leaving the house without my 2nd daughter noticing her brother and me.
Assembly time was 8am and we just met up with my officemates in front of the Unciano Hospital. From there, we rode at my colleague’s Vios car and just 15 minutes away we got in the vicinity.
At first, we parked the car outside but then the guard said that we could bring it in inside the resort itself. It was very convenient for us because we got lots of stuff to bring in. We parked almost next to our assigned cabana.
Our assigned Cabana #1 and #2
Since our entrance and accommodations were free, we decided to have a potluck for our food. We had Carbonara, Adobong baboy, roasted chicken, salted eggs with tomatoes, green mangoes with bagoong, some junk foods (with my son’s delight), softdrinks and a gallon of mineral water. Too bad I wasn’t able to take a photo of all that stuff (you know I had with me my little one).

Loreland Farm Resort has numbers of pools and there are lots of other amenities available for their guests. However, there is one activity in there that are appealing to their patrons and that is their very own version of Zip-Line. For Php100 ($2) you can go from one end to another with the use of a harness. (Actually I’m not sure about its distance). Zip-line tours are becoming popular vacation activities, found at outdoor adventure camps or upscale resorts, where they may be an element on a larger challenge or ropes course.

One of the guest trying out the Zip-line

Zip-line is also known as a flying fox, foefie slide, zip wire, aerial runway, aerial ropeslide, death slide or tyrolean crossing and is  consists of a pulley suspended on a cable mounted on an incline. It is designed to enable a user propelled by gravity to traverse from the top to the bottom of the inclined cable, usually made of stainless steel, by holding on or attaching to the freely moving pulley. Zip-lines come in many forms, most often used as a means of entertainment. They may be short and low, intended for child’s play and found on some playgrounds. Longer and higher rides are often used as a means of accessing remote areas, such as a rainforest canopy.

***No one in my colleagues dared to try it though.

We dipped in several pools and walked around the resort for some picture taking. Good thing my boss loves taking pictures and actually served as our paparazzi, as an evident today in the office, we saw that most of his shots are candid (he captured all our ngiwi, tawa and takaw mode).

Antipolo is also famous with their OL (overlooking) especially during the night where you can see the city lights and enjoys the cool breeze. But guess what we saw and captured in our camera.

Overlooking the polluted city with smoke and other not so lovely view.
Now that is the latest version of OL in Antipolo. Harming Mother Nature is really becoming rampant nowadays. If only we know how to love and take care of it, we will still have our little ones see the real essence of our environment years from now.

We ate again and packed our things at around 4pm with some of our left over in our bag. (We got lots of it since 2 of our voracious eater officemates did not make it).

Glimpse of Loreland Farm Resort with my son Ciren King

That day we had so much fun especially my son who wouldn’t get out of the pool even when the sun was all up. Imagine, staying under the pool and scorching sun at 12noon up to 3pm. No wonder my mom got very surprised when she saw us. Here’s how we look like:

Just a Heads Up

5 / 12 / 102 / 23 / 14
I know I have been MIA (missing in action) for quite sometime in my blogs. But I’m back and I’ve got more posts to come. I’ll be blabbing about our company department outing, of course our Mother’s Day celebration, a few notes about my online gigs and updates on my kiddos. Not yet done with photo watermarking so hope y’all get back on my nook.
Meanwhile, just to give you something interesting to look in this heads up post of mine, here’s the latest picture of my daughter Cien Riley who is celebrating her 11th monthsary today.
That’s how bad her hair is during early mornings.. (bad hair or not she still looks cute right?)
